Editor's notes:  My daughter and I recently had the opportunity to stay at the Doubletree Club Hotel while visiting Las Vegas and had a thoroughly enjoyable experience.  It was a great place to get some rest after a busy day on the Strip - away from the hustle and bustle.  The business center is great if you have to suffer through a bit of work while in Vegas - everything is at your fingertips. The Hotel provides great transportation to and from the busy Strip so you have the best of both worlds.
To women golfers/travellers:  I do a bit of travelling and am always on the lookout for hotels & restaurants that cater to women who travel alone.  Safety, comfort, communication and amentities are very important to me. I would highly recommend The Doubletree Club to women who are travelling to Vegas for business or pleasure.  I never felt concerned for my safety or that of my daughter. And the staff was very courteous and attentive. (You get the best warm chocolate chip cookie in the world when you check in.) All in all - a great place to stay!
