EAGLE CREST GOLF CLUB
Las Vegas Golf Course Review/Preview 4/11/04
* Executive golf course
Eagle Crest Golf Club in Summerlin (North Las Vegas) is one of three 18-hole golf courses that form the Sun
City golf complex, with the others being Highland Falls and the Palm Valley. Eagle Crest is an executive layout - one of the best of its kind in the valley - with 6 par fours and 12 par threes.
Each Sun City course features its own driving range and practice green. The clubhouse at Eagle Crest features
a snack shop, lounge and pro shop and is wonderfully landscaped. Palm trees, water hazards and bunkers filled
with quality sand accentuate the layout. The greens are small but along with the fairways, tees and bunkers, are well conditioned.
With 3 sets of tee areas, golfers of all skill can enjoy a round here. This is a perfect spot for a quick round, and
for those looking to work on their game before playing some of the areas more challenging championship
courses. The par fours range from 327 to 403 yards, and the par threes measure between 115 and 224 yards
from the back tees. Besides the incredible mountain views, visitors will also catch glimpses of the Las Vegas Strip in the distance.
